"As parents, we constantly question the decisions we make regarding our children.  We have never doubted our decision to have our children at the Hiawatha Day School. Our oldest son has an August birthday and we were hesitant to send him to a large kindergarten class, so we chose to enroll him in the kindergarten class at the Hiawatha Day School. He was able to get constant one-on-one attention at HDS and enjoy all subjects in school: reading, spelling, math, science, art and music! We are very grateful to the teachers and staff at HDS for not only teaching our son the kindergarten basics, but keeping him excited about learning!  We recommend HDS kindergarten to every parent we know and can't wait for our younger children to experience this program."

  • Our full-day program is just that. No need to find before or after-school care, and your 5-year old won't be on a bus. Our tuition includes care before and after school hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  • While many public programs around have nearly 30 kids per class, we cap our class at 14 students to make sure each child gets special attention.
  • We've invested in a top-notch curriculum that has our current students reading well beyond the Kindergarten level.
